Adjectives come after the noun
Colours and most other adjectives follow the noun and match it: rojo, roja, rojos, rojas. Adjectives ending in -e or a consonant (verde, azul) only change for plural.

Cuesta or cuestan?
Ask about one thing with “cuesta”, about several with “cuestan”.
- ¿Cuánto cuesta la chaqueta?How much is the jacket?
- ¿Cuánto cuestan los zapatos?How much are the shoes?
Numbers above 30 use “y”
From 16 to 29 numbers are one word (dieciséis, veintidós). From 31 on, you join tens and units with “y”: treinta y uno.
